In general terms, volume resistivity test data will allow the material to be classified into the following three zones;
– If the value is below 10,000 Ω (ten thousand ohms or 1 x 10⁴ Ω) then the material is deemed to be CONDUCTIVE.
– If the value is between 10,000 Ω and 100,000,000 Ω (1 x 10⁴ Ω to 1 x 10⁸ Ω) then the material is deemed to be ANTI STATIC
– If the value is above 100,000,000 Ω (100 MΩ or 1 x 10⁸ Ω) then the material is deemed to be INSULATIVE
